"Mountain View" Chamber Concert

If you want to experience the true spirit of Crossroads, look no further than the festival’s chamber music programs. This year’s main chamber program, Mountain View, brings together music old and new, inspired by mountains and the landscapes they evoke. Featuring a wide array of performers from the festival’s deep roster, the program includes works by Alex Weiser, Gabriela Lena Frank, and Oscar Rios Pohirieth.

PROGRAM:

Alex Weiser: “And All the Days Were Purple” for soprano and small Ensemble

Oscar Rios Pohirieth arr. Higgins: “Andean Song Cycle” for Andean Instruments and string quintet

Gabriella Lena Frank: “Leyendas, An Andean Walkabout” for String Quartet.

WHAT: The festival’s one an only dedicated chamber music concert
