Valeri studied flute and organ at the Yerevan Komitas State Conservatory & Aspirantura in Armenia, Musikhochschule Zürich, and at the Musikhochschule Luzern. He has won numerous prizes for his playing including at the Uhlau, Nicati, Kiwanis, Kiefer-Hablitzel Preis flute competitions. He has toured around the globe including North and South America, Asia and Europe and has contributed music to numerous film and theatre productions. He is the founder of the Authentic Light Orchestra which exists to cross cultural borders and create mutual understanding through music.
