Tervetuloa Suomeen!

Valeri Tolstov’s arrangement of “La Folia” that was commissioned by the Nebraska Crossroads Music Festival in 2023 made its European debut on July 27th 2024, as the grand finale–the last of 54 concerts–of the prestigous Kuhmo Chamber Music Festival (Kuhmon Kamarimusiikki) in Finland, one of Europe’s largest and oldest classical music festivals.

In addition to incubating and premiering the project at the 2023 Nebraska Crossroads Music Festival, we also served as the fiscal sponsor for this performance, which received funding from USArtists International for this special performance. The concert featured the same performers that were at the Nebraska premiere, including Valeri Tolstov, Emmanuel Hovhannisyan, John Hadfield, Erik Higgins, Sandeep Das and Rajib Karmakar.

Further performances are being planned for Europe and the U.S in 2025. See clips from the performance below.
