Tyler Sieh

A native Minnesotan, violist Tyler Sieh currently serves as Associate Principal Viola with the Omaha Symphony. He also is the instructor of viola at the University of Nebraska Omaha and serves on the viola faculty of the MasterWorks Festival during the summer.

Previously, Tyler has been a member of the Louisiana Philharmonic Orchestra in New Orleans, associate principal viola of the South Dakota Symphony Orchestra and principal viola of the Missouri Symphony Orchestra. He has also held teaching positions with the University of New Orleans, Augustana University and Minnesota State University Mankato.

Tyler was a founding member of the Lott String Quartet, artists-in-residence at the University of New Orleans, violist with the Augustana String Quartet and he currently performs actively with the Maverick String Quartet, as a faculty-artist at the University of Nebraska Omaha.

Tyler holds degrees in viola performance from the Cleveland Institute of Music and a masters in arts management from the University of Oklahoma.
